Thought I’d do something goofy before heading out to see The Incredible Hulk. Enjoy.

First of all, my personal apologies for the lack of content on this site. This is ENTIRELY my fault, and I really do feel horrible for being such a lazy bastard. Yet where there’s bad, there’s also good, and I personally believe that the best has come out of this situation.

To put it simply, something BIG is going down. Something great, something awesome, something ( adjective for good)

The Angry Dome IS returning, in a bigger and better way. What’s that you ask? Well you’re just going to have to wait and see. I don’t want to put a date out there yet, but I’m expecting this little project to take from one to two months, but it’s going to be way more than worth it.

tl;dr: We’re stopping for a little bit, and returning with something greater.

As some of you know, Ian Santiago, the artist for The Angry Dome, enjoys making animated shorts in his spare time, when he’s not drawing our comics. (Heh, not drawing our comics.) Surprisingly, I haven’t seen any real announcement of his latest cartoon, so I’m doing a cross-post to my blog (HonkeyKong.Org), and The Angry Dome (TheAngryDome.Net) in the hopes that people will go watch the cartoon and vote 5 on it. (Also in the hopes that people will realize this is a cross-post, and both sites will gather visitors)

Dear Viewers of TAD. I am a fat, lazy, good for nothing.

Well, that’s only partially true. (I am fat and lazy)

Those of you who actually have been reading our comics, have probably been wondering “WTF IS UP WITH THE LACK OF UPDATES?!?!!?” Well I’m here to explain it.

First of all, I am but a 16 year old, so responsibilities come fairly hard to me. (See: Me dropping out of High School) Though I have been shirking my Comic duties, there has been rightful cause, mostly involving myAunt and Grandmother, One needing babysitting for her son, the other, for herself. (I’ll let you figure out who is who.)

Ironically enough, (and Ryan be my witness) most of these babysitting days are often on launch, or prior to launch days of our Comic, meaning I have no time to work on them. Not to mention even when I’m NOT on babysitting duties, I am always out helping someone with something, being I am the only one available during the daytime, as I am unemployed.

But not all is simple babysitting and the likes, I have also been extremely lazy. (As previously stated)

Basically, I’ve been too tired, or just purely didn’t want to do the comic at the time, I didn’t even know why, until now.

I hate the artwork. Hate. HATE. I simply look at it, and I feel…ASHAMED of it, disgusted, pitiful, what other adjectives have you, and it seems with every comic, brings more unwanted shame. So a solution has come. Pure and simple.

I have a four day weekend starting today, and it is going to be used purely for art. (CoughandtogoseeCloverfieldCough) I’m going to start doing redesigns of our characters, and spend time on ACTUAL designs on characters to come soon. (The main reason there has been no comic.) I feel that the art (and some of the comics themselves honestly) are way too generic, and really need something to set them apart, set the bar, GO THE DISTANCE, ET CETERA! And THAT is what I am going to attempt to accomplish this weekend.

I guess we should have bothered to read some other webcomics before posting the Mega Man filler strip. Little did I know, Steve from Dueling Analogs had already created a strip very similar to ours, exactly a year before us. So, please don’t aim the hate mail cannon at us, we honestly didn’t know about it until now. Sorry.
